PRODUCTS - Acoustic Silencers

Rectangular and round acoustic silencers produced by FRAPOL are designed for silencing noise in ventilation and air-conditioning installations. They may be used both in the network of ducts made of steel plate, as well as of brick or concrete.
Rectangular silencers are produced as two types: TKF-MB and TKF-MBR. TKF-MB type silencers are equipped with absorptive buffles, while TKF-MBR type silencers are equipped in absorptive-and-resonator buffles. TKF-MB type silencers are mainly used for noise silencing in the range of medium and high frequencies. TKF-MBR type silencers should, however, be used if it is more important to silence the noise in low and medium frequencies. Rectangular silencers consist of casing made of galvanized steel sheet in which buffles are installed permanently.

The width of rectangular silencers produced falls within the range of 150 to 3000 mm, and the height - between 300 and 3000 mm. The length of silencers (depending on other dimensions) may amount from 500 to 3000 mm.

Round RS silencers consist of sound-absorbing isolation of absorptive type, and of casing made of galvanized steel sheet. The sound-absorbing isolation is made of 50 mm thick layer of mineral wool, protected on the side of air flow with galvanized perforated plate.
RS type silencers are produced with diameters from 100 to 500 mm, and with standard lengths (depending on the diameter) 975, 1475 and 1975 mm.

TKF and RS type acoustic silencers have Technical Approval No AT/99-02-0845 issued by Centralny Oœrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Techniki Instalacyjnej “INSTAL”.
