PRODUCTS - Fire Dampers

Fire dampers are designed to protect rooms against spreading of fire and smoke through air ducts in ventilation and air-conditioning installations. They are mounted on the borders of fire zones and in the areas where air ducts cross firewalls.

Currently the following fire dampers are manufactured:

  • Rectangular fire dampers type V370;
  • Round fire dampers type RK370, RK370M and RK150;
  • Shut-off dampers type VD370 for ventilation ducts;
  • Fire valves type ZPp60 and ZPp120.
Technical details, product variants differing in the drive type used, and dimensions are given in detailed catalogues which can be found in the tab “Catalogues”. All our products have been admitted for application in the construction industry on the basis of appropriate documents issued by the Building Research Institute (ITB) - ITB Technical Approvals, ITB Conformance Certificates and Conformance Declarations.


Frapol Krakow has successfully finished the assembly and start-up of the new ventilation and air-conditioning installation in the Andel’s Hotel, performed in co-operation with the Austrian company HTG Wien.

Frapol’s Management Board – in spite of recession in the construction market, according to the rule “He that does not develop, moves back” – decided to build a new production building with an administrative section, the total area to be developed being 4,170 m2.
